so ok when it concerns soft ban and messing with stats or adding souls randomly can i just get a second account have use the trainer get ton soul or soul item, then either have have the second account invade or if possible drop the soul items for the main account to gain souls that way? i know you can do password protect even when soft ban to help friends at least thats what i heard. im not sure if that works for invading though, cause if im playing this game im gonna want to do pvp convenants get some exlusive stuff so i wouldnt want to soft ban myself. i was just wandering if this method could be a good loop whole around the soft ban system. the second account will of course get the items or souls offline then switch back to online with the trainer off to do this

So basicslly going offline to add some soul's shouldn't be to detrimental correct? Just turn the trainer off before I get back online?

    Ello Again 😋
Don't see anyone mention it so I just wanna say you don't need to turn steam offline to play DS 3 offline. There is an option if you go check in the system option. Under [Network] there is a line read [Launch Setting] change that to offline. Quit and relaunch your game and you should start the game offline and still earn achievements. I end up deciding to play offline for my first game-through. Good luck to all! And hope this help 😋

Edit 1- Oh someone did mention it I just read it wrong, oh well 😆

well you might still get soft banned were you cant play with others online still, cause the system they have in place looks for discrepancies within the save supposedly but as i mention before if you have friends you can play with if you setup up matchmaking with password you should be able to play with your friends at least? now thats only what i heard so not sure about it myself?

Hey so far, I never use any of the trainer other than unlimited HP and stamina, but then today when I log in. It says

[Caution] Invalid Game data Has Been detected!
Invalid game data has been detected on your account. The use of invalid data during gameplay is a violation of the end user license agreement. You will be penalized if you continue playing with invalid data. Please take this opportunity to remove the invalid data from your system/account and discontinue further use.

Notification regarding the regulation ver 1.04 update.
Thank you for supporting Dark Souls III

So my question would be... "How do I remove invalid data?" since the unlimited hP is ON/Off anyway..

Apprently you're not the only one, many people, legit or not, reported having this issue on various forum too.

I've played around with the trainer to prepare PvP builds and avoided functions that are known to cause invalid game data.

I've used the unlimited health and Stamina option, plus used infinite items on picked up souls to keep the soul counter on a legit earned amount. I have now gotten invalid game data as well, since I'd like to avoid getting banned anytime soon I'll be reverting my states, but if anyone wants to take the risk I'd suggest ONLY using infinite health/FP/Stamina on your playthrough.

I was cautious about duping items, too, but I've noticed that the souls you pick up (the ones you can pop from your inventory) have different names once you enter ng+, so I imagine that they have a counter in their system that checks if you have more of a certain soul than you're able to obtain legitimately. This might be worth finding out, but since I already have the message I can't do it anymore without risking an actual softban.

    So tl;dr
-the ban message will not appear immediately, it might take a few days / a patch for the system to give you a notice.

-do not use the trainer during online mode, which should be fairly obvious. I doubt disabling your network connection would have any improvement to that, because the state will be checked once you log into online mode anyways.

-if you want the least risk to getting invalid game data, only use infinite health/FP/stamina. I have no confirmation you're safe from getting the message, but it appears to be by far the smallest risk.

-I believe duping Souls (Like Soul of a crestfallen Warrior) will get you the message, because the item is actually limited in game. You get a new set of "souls" you can pick up once you enter NG+. I know the ones from NG+ give you slightly more souls but I doubt From Soft would have made the effort only to give you more souls.

looking forward to hearing other people's experience with trying to find out how their data filters work.
