I guess my understanding of how Steam sold the game was faulty.
But having paid in advance, as Steam charges you Immediately instead of say, Amazon, which only charges you when they ship, Steam DID say there would be the SP quest of the game so offline. In their sell spiel about the game SP/MP/Online were mentioned. So disappointed with Steam as I own almost 80 games on there and have been there since they started, and they charge me for something different from what they advertised almost 2 months before release, and then I don't get what they mention was there as well, a SP campain offline like the other games out there? Oh well, it is NOT CheatHappens fault, but still, a waste of money, as I do agree with some that the footsoldiers can be dealt with, the bosses cream you... So it is still a waste of money if you cannot progress, after all, you pay for the game, you play the game, and even the good old "Solitaire" of old on Windows 3.0 allowed to reshuffle cards.... Would you pay for a meal that you could never eat? Even though they did say you would get the nice chop-sticks and then find out they are missing from the Rahmen?? All the best guys, good luck.
Steam has refunds now.
Currently, you are able to CE ammo, recoil and spread though.
Which. To be fair, with a decent weapon, those few values turns the game tide entirely.
Although, I do dream that we could CE / cheat credits / DZcred / Pheonix Cred values. (I know it's server side, but I can dream.)
PS. CE'ing anything that's server side will get you a nice 72hours ban. Just fyi to you all.
you can also CE fire rate, which makes for some fun times when combined with the above ones.
Thank you for the heads up. Guess i should've read the site's policy before making a sub to this site
People like this make my head hurt.
Can't pretend I'm not upset about this but the reasoning is completely sound.
I was hoping for a little CH help with the game, as some of the boss enemies are so far above me that I'm finding progress near impossible.
Tried the tech recruitment mission and made it through the base enemies with barely a scratch. The boss appears and kills me in one or two hits.
Pretty much just going to give up as it is just becoming frustrating.
One thing to keep in mind is that tactics and cover do help.
If you are referring to the last part of the mission where the boss comes down the elevator..
1) Remember the pattern of the enemy entrances. they aren't random, so you can usually get in place on the opposite side of them in time. For the boos part, I stayed on top of the 2nd level on the opposite side of the elevators and worked from there. took down the canon fodder first, then kept moving cover to cover and staying away from boss while taking shots at him.
