Hello, I would like to propose an idea for the PC Cheats & Trainers - Index page.

A Distribution(s) Indicator on the PC Cheats & Trainers - Index page, This will send a clear message "RIGHT AWAY" Telling us what this trainer will work on.

For example - Use your imagination here with the forum icons, Try to imagine them as distribution platforms Icons for the games instead of forum icons. 😉

Here is an Image I've created for you as an example Link

    A Steam icon ⭐
    Origin icon 💣
    Gog icon
    Retail Icon

A steam icon next to the game trainer name means
This trainer will only work on steam version

A Origin icon next to the game trainer name means
This trainer will only work on Origin version

A Gog icon next to the game trainer name means
This trainer will only work on GOG version

A Retail icon next to the game trainer name means
This trainer will only work on Retail version

Most trainers say what they were made for. However they don't just work only on one distro. Many steam trainers work just as well with GOG etc.

An example is the Ark trainer: Distribution(s):
    RETAIL/STEAM

It clearly lists what it was made for. The steam version.

Varacka, True, That may be, But does Not mean all of them are compatible with each other, Assassin's Creed II trainer does not work for UPLAY and the Distribution is RETAIL. This is really for the PC Cheats & Trainers - Index page anyway.

It's a filter for the Distribution(s) to know right away what to expect, Without having to keep clicking on the individual game titles in order to find out. It's just a nice feature to have really, To know what to expect straight away at the Index page. ^_^

Now, For example. You have 22 Games with the title (A) and you want the trainers for all of those games with the title A but You would have to click those 22 game Titles in order to find out the Distribution, To know if the trainer is compatible,

I think it would make life so much easier if this information was displayed right away on the index page. Right next to the Game Title with Distribution icons. 🙂

While I agree something like this would be informative for us members, can you imagine the tremendous amount of extra work it would add to their already heavy workload?

It requires a small amount of effort on our part (as members, paying or free) to determine if the trainer will work on our chosen platform, and the message boards are there already for us to communicate and help each other if we have problems, questions or suggestions for a trainer we want to use.

As was mentioned above, there is already an indication on the download page to tell us which platform the trainer if for. Besides, do you really want the extra clutter on the index pages or in search results?

Furthermore... these guys are already overworked as it is, with ungrateful user complaints and trainer requests they get on a daily basis. As PW has stated in a sticky, they awake every day and start wading through their inboxes, reading individual message boards for those hot and popular new releases, and dealing with their email... all before they can go to work creating new trainers and maintaining the current ones.

Like I said, the extra info would be "nice", I just do not think the payoff versus the effort is really necessary.

    Just my 2 coppers worth.
