I tried what you suggested. Cleaned the computer with CCleaner, unplugged the computer for over 5 min and made sure the trainer was running as admin. I even turned off the anti-viruses and anti-malware programs temporarily. Still nothing is working. Does it work on windows 10? Thank for the help though. The game is fun but the difficulty takes a sharp climb fast.

The trainer is built to run on Windows 10, but I cannot answer for it as I'm enjoying the "7" version. 😐

so I did a little test. I started up a VM with Windows 7 on it. I downloaded Steam And the trainer 2.1. The trainer worked on the 7 machine but for the life of me I can't get it to work on the 10 machine. So obviously I know how it works but don't know why it's not working on Windows 10.

I mistakenly reported this trainer as not working when it is in fact working just fine. I accept the inevitable penalty and I'm posting this here purely on the off chance you spot it before checking out my false report and save yourselves some time.

I already did that. Still not working with Windows 10 on my machine but is working fine on an virtual machine running windows 7.

Have you completely disabled all Windows Defender services?

I give up. I tried this trainer in my windows 10 laptop, didn't work. I tried it on my windows 7 desktop, didnt work. I tried it in a newly created virtual machine with windows xp, nothing.

All I get is the repetitive 'activated' message over and over when I click on the portrait, when it's not on the portrait etc. I used other trainers on other games, but this one is the only that gives me headache and wont work at all.
