I was wondering if there are any other rewards for gifting games to CH ? Other than getting the trai

If gifting a game is considered only once per game request does it also assign the distribution platform the trainer is made for for the time being?

As GOG for example has already a couple of games which are also on Steam but not every trainer will support both platforms (or the retail version). Or the majority of CH members don't like this (or that) platform.

Good for health, bad for education.

Are gift links the only accepted way to gift a game or would a Steam key be accepted?

Also, if gift links are the only thing accepted, do you accept ones from the bundle sites (i.e. Indiegala, Groupees, etc...)?

I would assume CD keys are fine too if it doesn't work it just counts as breaking the deal to gift, likely they'd contact you about it but you are still responsible for the key working.

I am trying to gift a game to CH but Steam won't allow me to send it via email. It only let's me send it via friends who are on my steam account. How to do it?

Paypal link for gifting custom dollar amounts for particular titles for when REQUEST link is not used (special cases).

Remember to add your alias on the site and the title of the game it is for, in the notes section. Then send an e-mail to chris@cheathappens.com to make him aware that it is incoming and what it is for.

Select the add credits option to that title and on the next screen there is a link for the Gifting option.

If you cannot send it via email then you can only send us PayPal cash as we do not know which of our 3 Steam accounts/programmers will be working on any given title in advance.
