I hope they port Final fantasy XII too. I like the games most disliked in the series.

THIS, is awesome news! I've been binging on Final Fantasy Games and getting them to 100% achievements in preparation for Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy X, X-2.

I've never played any of these games, but I guess this would be as good a place to start in the series as any, eh?

Worth noting that the reviews for this version are pretty poor, just in case anyone buys it without checking them.

I'd love to see a HD re-master of VI, I think given the setting and story it could be really beautiful.
