It's like 15k now; wasn't it like 12k not too long ago? 🤔

Credit requirements are based on the number of unused credits in the system, average number of credits held by each user, game developer, early access or not and several other factors. There are over 200 MILLION unspent request credits in the system. 15,000 is a drop in the bucket. The request system was never meant for one or two users to be able to request a trainer and have it programmed. It costs us around $500 to have each trainer programmed and supported through it's lifetime, sometimes much more if it patches over and over again. There needs to be enough interest so that we can make that money back through additional signups once the trainer is programmed. There are currently over 500 titles on the request list. If we put them all at 3,000 credits we would never be able to code them all while still keeping up with other active titles. There has to be a balance as we're already stretched thin with all of these early access and broken games that require 50 patches over the course of a year or two. If a fair number of people are interested enough in a trainer the credits will be filled. We've had games with 50,000-100,000+ requirements be met in less than one day.

We will have a new system in place with our new site rollout which will give users more options when it comes to the request system.

Holy crap, $500 at a minimum? Damn! At least the cost/game is relatively in line with the credits.

And 200 MILLION unspent request credits. That's...crazy to me (I believe you, it's just...people have that many that they haven't used).

I'm one of those users sometimes

Some users spend all of their credits every month and some hold onto them for a game they really care about which may not have that many other interested members (like smaller indie early access games). We've had some users save all of their credits and dump it into a single game where they were the only contributor and we made the trainer, got like 3 downloads and 10 patches.

Yeah, I think I'm one of those latter users Though usually I'm able to beat the game before too many patches are needed. Like, Catlateral Damage, I was the main contributor. And I think there've been at least 2 or 3 where I was the ONLY contributor.

Most of the games I have already have trainers for them, so I don't need to dump any credits into. Maybe on day I will need to use them

Same here. In a way I feel slightly guilty for not spending mine (in fact I'm not even sure how to view mine). Would beg neat to be able to donate to others, but as Wizard stated it's not a one-two person deal, it's over the popularity of the masses.

Maybe we could just trade them in for Founder/Dev's cookie bake sale meet-up someday.

I didn't even know I ever had credits. I was wondering what they were.
