the game has anti cheats, detects the trainer, then crashes itself. you can thank UBI for putting anti cheats into their single player game. most likely to make sure people buy their addons/credits/gold, etc. with real money rather than using a trainer.

Yeah, there's been a new update for AC: Syndicate. Could you be so kind to update the trainer also? That would be very helpful!

Unfortunately, the new update on the trainer still doesn't work for me. Oh well. Won't stop playing. Stupid UBI for doing the anti cheat

using the trainer from november and turning off the internet makes it work perfectly well.
