Are we still talking about Fallout 4? Because according to their own info the game has no official level cap. But creatures do not scale to your level and the highest creature level is supposed to be 50...

That's because people usually aren't supposed to hit level 275 xD
at any rate, I have encountered plenty mobs at level 275 to match mine because of some perks that does you can pacify lower level.

So far the only thing I have come accross that has gave me bother is that Asaulttron thing. That had me running. Till I could pop it a couple of times with a Furry Fat Bear.

Well the rubberbanding on some critters may be a little bit broken or maybe they just have a ridiculous level range. Like will scale from lvl 50-500. Because I know some things are lvl 50 minimum such as a behemoth.

Single killed a behemoth with a furry mini nuke while I was under level 20. No commands or trainer options on.

From someone who is level 6108, i can confirm that there are a lot of enemies who at the very least scale in hp equivalent to your current hp and level, and take upwards of 10 minutes to kill with the best weapons in the game. often times these are super mutants, ghouls, assaultrons, and mirelurks. luckily though, with the ghouls you can shoot off their limbs and make them impotent, but the mutie warlords are ridiculous. they do no damage to me in PA but they take tons of hits, and the mirelurks are even worse. assaultrons are the worst, as they actually get weapons skills that are about 75% of their equivalent level, so they're actually still really dangerous and take a pounding.

Eh, I wanted perk points before they added them to the trainer. Using player.advlevel doesn't give any, so I had to use player.modav experience. Considering that I'm using the console already, not really overkill. I can just click on an unreasonably tough enemy and use the "kill" command. Just trying to prove a point.

This is why I support adding a leveling down feature, as when I try to do it through the vanilla console, it literally tells me that the console was not designed to do that and that such a feature is not, quoting, "allowed."

Dont think there is a way to level down. But nothing more will be done to the trainer. I can only suggest having a look at nexus mods or CE.
