I've got something odd going on and I've read the thread but not seen this problem elsewhere. I fire up the trainer, fire up Steam, start the game and the trainer stays on top of the other windows and cannot close. In addition, the mouse will not move out of the parameters of the trainer box. I've been successful a couple of times with getting the Steam window or other windows on top but the mouse pointer still sticks in the center of the screen where the trainer box would be. The only way I can close anything is to go to Task Manager and close things that way.
Happens to me too, but you do not need to close anything.
Just alt+tab and it'll focus on Fallout.
A bigger problem (NOT trainer related) is that every damn time I kill a legendary creature it clips through the ground before I can collect its gear.

Use alt tab till you get to the game screen.
A bit disappointed that the trainer is merely a macro for the console commands. It would have been way less annoying to not have the console pop up like all the other trainers.
Yeh, it's such a major inconvenience. We certainly should have spent DAYS programming the SAME EXACT OPTIONS that can be accomplished with the type of 3 letters.
some people... never cease to amaze me.
We are no longer supporting the ammo function which is why it was removed from the trainer.
I didn't update to the new trainer.
Mine still says F6 for unlimited ammo.
I guess it doesn't matter. I just use the player.additem XXXX # format to add stuff. For anyone that's interested, here are the codes for the various ammo types. You can create a batch file if you're familiar with it and use >bat (name of batch file) in the console or just type them in one by one.
