So I've never had this problem before after years of using trainers or Winzip.

For some reason Winzip won't open... at all.

I'm not very tech savy so I hope someone more knowledgeable than me is having similar problems.

    I'm using Winzip 19.5

    Using Windows 10

Just switched from winRaR to 7Zip myself after I went to Windows 10 and it seems to be working great. I have not used Winzip in a very long time.

Thanks, I'll give winrar a a try. I also have 7zip but my computer automatically tries to open files with Winzip and i'm not sure how to get the files to open with the other program.

Thanks for all and any additional input, it's appreciated.

run 7zip as admin go to tools, options, system and asociate them with 7zip. that MIGHT help.
Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

Why not just wholly uninstall Winzip? It doesn't do anything that 7zip doesn't do.

I'll do both of those, thanks so much! Maybe this will solve my problem.

Okay, uninstalled Winzip and did changed file association on 7zip. Thanks so much for your help guys. If I'm still having problems I'll update this thread, but hopefully this works.

Just so ya'll know, ya'll were more helpful than Winzip support services... I still haven't heard back from them. :P
