I had to go to the quarantine section of Windows Defender and allow it there for it to actually stop it from terminating the program.

I'm not quite sure what's gone wrong, and I generally prefer not to bother asking for help until I've done everything but I've noticed that even after trying everything I still get the same issues.

First off the options don't work in game whilst playing. Add gold/ Labour ect. And when I load a save the game instantly crashes with no error messages.

Anyway I'm not sure if anyone has this problem or if it's just me, I've checked the forums and It doesn't seem like it. Anyway thanks for your effort and time.

Replying to the labor crash. So, when you add labor and you start really, really long tasks (building a road with the stupidest person possible), that labor is reserved against the total, but for longer. So, what happens with a saved game is that the labor value will sometimes rubber-band back to near the original value. If that value happens to be negative, crash!

Recommend you save on the council screen with a high positive labor to avoid it.

I can't replicate your money issue, it may be a tax issue where you go too far negative as well if you let the value reset.

When I try to open the trainer, it just opens a web browser to a page it can't open.

C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local\Temp\~Mnn133.tmp is what it tries to open instead of opening the trainer.

Any idea what's going on and how to fix it?

All other trainers I have from this sight are working great, as designed...it's only this one.

Would also be interested to know if there'll be availability to make a trainer for Ascension. It is a HUGE improvement over SoI and I think will be an even more popular game now that it's out in English.

do you still play this game sir? do you know that the latest patch does not work with the cheat anymore?
