There are plenty of free tools that shows your windows key. However on Windows 10 the upgrade keys are just a placeholder. Everyone gets the same key as your license is bound to your hardware (currently even in those countries where it shouldn't be).
this seems......problematic.... since most people on PC add new hardware, graphics cards, etc..
this looks to be a cluster coming.. personally if i get windows 10 'free' and then a year from now put a new graphics card in and they say well now you have to pay for the OS, then just on principle alone I may have to "obtain" windows 10 FOR FREE some other way.
I generally buy the OS, and usually the ULTIMATE version. however, dont dangle free upgrade in front of me and then yank it away a year later when I do something rather common with my own computer.

.vbs scripts can be run on Windows 10.
interesting. I did not know this. This could also be.... problematic.. as vbs scripts running by people who have no idea what they are doing could ..... really mess up your machine..
I just updated to windows 10 and i get this when i try start a trainer: Invalid memory access-->Error#1135
Do this have to do with windows 10 upgrade? I tried delete the cheathappens folder but still same message.
Thanks in advance
Nevermind. If you run it in windows 8 comp. mode it works

that error generally means something is preventing the trainer from creating the files it uses in the temp folder (i.e. the sound files, box art, etc.)

According to MS, Windows 10 is free for the life of your device even after the year, should you need to re-install for any reason. It is tied to your system. After I upgraded I downloaded the ISO using MS Media Creation Tool for Windows 10, and upon booting the DVD it asked me for a serial, I simply clicked on the skip button, and installed Windows. As soon as Windows 10 was installed, it activated automatically.

But you are limited to not changing hardware when you do... you need that key.
Or else it is a long phone call pleading your case on why your windows 10 is yours.
