Mafia 2 was great so I'm hopeful =)

Yeah it sure was Maybe this might become another game that will be perma on the list for me.

I want Franky back ! Never really liked the protagonist of Mafia 2 and the characters were casual stuff. I hope it will be more like Mafia 1.

I kinda hope there's more scene-driven content and a little less driving than in M-2 though. Being honest, my driving skills were something less than perfect.

Yeah I saw this announced, was immediately excited. My only gripe about Mafia II was that there was just so little to do outside of the story missions - seemed like a bit of a waste of such a large city area when you only encountered 70% of it whilst driving past. I hope that gets remedied in III with side missions, activities, maybe a bit of encouraged exploration etc.

I miss the enjoyment of Mafia (the first, still got the paper map of Lost Heaven), so much more freedom of choice and, I don't know but there's this kinda feeling the second edition missed, ok not completely...

Same for several "old" reiteration, as, Assassin's Creed, Max Payne...they (devs) added cut-scenes where one of a sudden you realize you had to click there when at this particular angle and only for so long...or you die (game character) and reload infinitely, nope I do not find it entertaining and shame to those developers who claimed whatever length of playtime

But I'm optimistic and hopeful (crossing fingers, touching wood...)

I really liked the "show/hide in-game trainer menu", at the time I had only one CRT display and relied heavily on flying paper notes
