Btw shouldn't the compatibility say only Win 10? I think this version of Minecraft only works on 10 though I could be wrong.

Its compatable with the rest probably to. Hence why the rest is there.

Here it says it's windows 10 only.

The compatibility shows which system the trainer supports. Not which system the game requires to run.
