Pardon the Canine ignorance but is this a very expensive dog to buy?
Nice looking animal Vlad. I'm more of a Schnauzer and Bassett Hound type.
Well I actually got him for my wife after her Basset Hound died 8 years ago. Though, as you can see in the picture, he has grown on me.
Samson was cheap as he was a pound puppy. We picked him up as this little 4lb. pup with fleas that from a shelter for $35 seven years ago. Someone tossed the poor little guy from their car on the side of the road. We got him cleaned up, recovered, and he has been a great little (25lbs.) dog.
If you are looking for a certain type of dog, check your local animal shelters as you may be surprised at what you may find. Most have websites now with pictures of the animals that need homes. Not only is this helpful, but it is also the cheap way to go. A website is how we found our dog. It was a 45mile drive down there, but worth the trip.
