As some of you may know, we are finishing up work on our next big patch, Patch 1.07. It’s a very large update introducing some key changes, including:

A new, alternative (optional) movement response mode for Geralt.
A player stash for storing items, available in various locations throughout the game. Stash locations are marked on the player's map.
Crafting and alchemy components no longer add to the overall inventory weight.
Books are now placed in a dedicated tab in the Inventory and books that have already been read are properly grayed out.
Multiple sorting options are now available in the Inventory.
Alchemy formulas and crafting diagrams can be "pinned", meaning all components and ingredients required to make them will be conveniently marked in the Shop panel.
Dozens of fixes for quest related issues, both major and minor.
A few performance enhancements, including the optimization of FX, scenes and general gameplay.
    Various improvements to horse behavior.

No exact date set yet but we finally get our stash again.

Gotta love CDPR they really listen to feedback, and act ASAP. Other developers would have said you're SOL on those things, or say maybe in the next game, these guys patch it in.

Can't wait to see the new patch, and hopefully Roach will stop spawning on the other side of a cliff.

CDPR is the only game company I trust anymore. They seem to actually genuinely care. I hope roach just stop randomly stopping!!!!!! Really darn annoying during races, granted when you are in front you can cut the other riders off and they don't try to pass you lol.

A little heads up some people are having issues with save-games and such like with any patch release not a smooth event for everyone.

    Hello

I installed the patch 1.07 last night. What I have noticed is that

    1) Geralt became a bit fatter, a bit shorter, a bit broader and with quite a few extra muscles. He is a "bit" ridiculous actualy Is there a way to manipulate his form and give him back his previous mesurments?

2)although I won the gwent card from the innkeeper of Kingfisher, the relevant quest remains active and I am worried that this will apply from now on,to the remaining quests.

Is there a way to unistall the patch without having to start the game from the begining?

    Thanks

Hmm, well, I'm on my 2nd play-thru and have updated to 1.07 and I honestly don't see much difference in Geralt. I just undressed him for a better view and he looks the same to me.

Is it possible your grafix settings have changed, like the resolution perhaps?

If you have the Free hair and beard DLC installed, go by the barber and get one of the shorter hair and beard styles. It seemed to me, either real or imagined, the shorter, less hair look makes him look younger and a bit more svelte.

I keep him clean shaved and with the original hairdo (some hair tied back and some loose) which gives him a younger look but he definently needs to be put on a strict diet
