As far as a Cyborg fight, both Dana White and Ronda said at the post-fight press Conf. that they both want that fight with Cyborg and it's ready to go. All that needs to happen is Cyborg needs to lose 10 pounds to qualify to meet Ronda at 135 and the fight will be scheduled.

Let's see just how badly Cyborg wants to fight Ronda.

Yeah I had no expectations from this fight and I even thought it will be over with an arm lock, so I'm quite pleased.

A bit of a cheat though, she grabbed her hair 3 times to control her head... watch the fight again you will see what I mean. Surprised the ref never saw it, you can see where she grabbed and the girl tried to move her head but couldn't.

You're groping, Dab. I still have the recording of the PPV and just watched it thru 4-5 times varying the speed from regular to 1/4 to 1/15 and I didn't see any such hair pulling that mattered.

The only time I saw her hand near Bethe's hair was when Ronda briefly had her head in hand. I've heard no one else say that, not Big John McCarthy the ref who was like six feet away, not Bethe's corner nor the announcers. Not even Bethe herself. Only excuse she had was she "slipped." Then she compared herself to Mike Tyson saying "even Mike Tyson slips." Really, Bethe?

She'll get no compassion from me, anyway, not after classy comments like "Ronda's a fraud, she doesn't deserve the belt."

I'd suspect if she missed seeing Ronda's other fights, she got a ringside view of her last night. For 34 seconds, anyway.

Not groping at all, you cannot hold and grab onto hair, she did it the first chance she got her hand behind Bethe's head.

She grabbed tight, and Bethe tried to move her head down and couldn't.

She then continued to do it 2 more times, during those times she got some heavy hits in.

Shady.... I can see this being checked on, probably nothing will get done, but if it does.... she can lose her title and get a DQ.

Anyways check the time at 4:47 you will see that is when she first grabs her, she was taking hard hits for a few seconds, and you can see Bethe try to move her head and it was restricted.

The Ref moves to a better position and she lets go, then Bethe turns to the right and with the ref behind her, she grabs again and gets more hits in and Bethe falls backwards, against the fence she managed to get another quick grab at the hair, and hit her twice by then she was stunned and was easier to TKO.

But it is very clear... I noticed straight away and rewatched many times to make sure. But she definitely grabbed the hair... prepare for the backlash time.

Again Dana won't let her lose the belt etc, because she is a face for the company, he will only do something if a large % of fans promise to stop funding UFC that he would do, because they are a business at the end of the day.

Link - a few screenshots to show you the hair being held tight and staying there constant for 3 seconds, if she wasn't grabbing hair the hand would be moving around and not in one place.

As you can see it was not a flat hand, it was a grasp/fist.

She did it again a couple of seconds later, Bethe fell back as said, and before she kneed Bethe in the face, she got a quick grab then.

I admired Rousey for her skill, but this was blatant cheating because Bethe got about 10 seconds of smacking her in the face and Ronda didn't like it.

Did ya miss the part where I said I watched it back 4-5 more times at varying playback speeds and still don't see any hair pulling beyond incidental contact?

Certainly nothing of the sort to even start a discussion about a DQ. I can't even find a solid discussion on the underground forums, somewhere that you're just as likely to see the gals called aliens or wives of Bigfoot. I saw one thread mentioned in the search but have yet to find it among the postings.

I like Ronda but If I seriously thought she cheated, I'd have no problem saying so. Pass the sour grapes, please.

I saw what I saw, and as I SAID, I rewatched it numerous times and slowed down to see what I saw.

Or perhaps you are so much a fan you are blinded by not seeing it?

It is simple Physics...

One cannot have a clenched fist on the back of the head, and expect it to stay there constant in the same place for 3 seconds with a lot of movement.

She was dealing with different strikes and an upward knee, this means moving forward with Bethe moving backward with varying degrees of distance between them, yet the hand was in the same place each time. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE.. unless you are holding onto something which keeps it in place.

As for starting a discussion about a DQ, I never did that at all...

I said nothing will get done, but if it did it may be that she will lose her title and get a DQ. I never said she will get a DQ for sure, or if the process of a DQ would start.

Like I said before I had admiration of her skill, but this... is just a slap in the face to UFC fans.

She did it for the simple fact Bethe was hitting her hard with strikes she couldn't block much off, and she had to resort to this...

Watch again, she tried to do it before the 3 second grab, and failed as Bethe shrugged her off... now why didn't she shrug her off again? Because she couldn't.

I rewatched... and when Ronda grabbed tight... you can hear Bethe yell out a bit from it.

Am I upset she won... nope.. it was kinda on the books, even though I like to see an underdog do well and I was hoping this would go past the 1st round. But I am not a fan of Correia either.. before you think I am, which you do already.. hence the crap sour grapes comment.

Most people do not like drama when their lives are peaceful. If you have a problem with another user for something completely unrelated to the boards, please keep it off site and on IMs. While it may be entertaining to some, it's just a headache to others (especially mods). If a topic becomes heated, try to contain it in the topic alone and put it out before it blows up (this usually means one of you will have to stop and ignore the other).
