I don't believe it. I just finished Blood & Wine and on a whim, decided to go visit that Wolf again in the Skellige's Most Wanted quest. Probably the 18th or 20th time I've tried and this time, two swings of the sword and he died. CDPR must have FINALLY fixed it.
