Oh Oh this thread is full of people expecting perfection from Day 1...

C'mon people things will get fixed.

Also make sure your system is fine, HDD is not fragmented .... yada yada.

I have had no problems running the game on a smaller machine, with a 780, 8370e and 8GB 1600. No Raid 0/1+0, No overclocking etc.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

Well Warner Bros just suspended sales of Batman: Link.
But no you're right if it runs fine on your end the game is probably fine..
Btw I dont own the game and I dont intend to until people report they fixed all the issues, I have no desire to find out whether it works fine on my end or not, I simply recommended to those who spent their hard working money on a broken product to get a refund.

Pardon me but the point that I've stated, just go to steam and see how many have done the same. Sure you are right that we have stated this on THIS THREAD, but it's a gaming site and saying a bit about what we feel toward something that we love but gone wrong isn't bad.

As I said, I had NO problem playing using my gfx card and system. But many having similar setup are not very fortunate. Stating that is not a bad thing. We appreciate the overall gaming communities' pain and that is neither nerdy nor sentimental.

    Just saying...

As for Day 1 perfection...look at Witcher 3, look at DMC4 special edition and many more. The idea is not seeking perfection but expecting things to be at least decent so that the majority of people would say, "hey it's has issues, but not worth gameplay ruining moments".

Witcher 3 had its complainers the first couple of days too.

Most complainers for any new game are people who don't know how to keep their system up to shape, others didn't even bother to read the requirements and complain and wonder why their GPUs are under requirements, and then the people who don't have the game and complain like the reddit bunch who tried to force the multitudes of threads to "go get a refund".

It is all childish, many AAA titles in the past have had a bad start, again if people don't beta test correctly and report bugs with the different systems the devs try to get into beta testing, then they will be unaware of problems on a whole.

Unfortunately people these days have this self entitlement and use beta tests to just play the game first, if it bugs bad they will complain and/or move to another game, not even reporting on problems.

But the so called bad "performances" that many find, is due to poor system optimization, they force their GPU to work harder by removing vsync and then follow stupid advice elsewhere to edit files to set the frame rate to 9999 (seen that a few times on the steam forums)... then they wonder why their GPU smells of burning plastic.

People are impatient, instead of helping out with the devs on when performance for them is bad etc, they go the refund route... which will take time anyway, but deep down for most the one other reason they get a refund is to have an excuse to download a warez release of the game because somehow that legitimizes it.

But somehow they don't complain en masse when using that.

God help them when Fallout 4 comes out, we will see the same childish rubbish yet again.

Also the forum is public, we can express views on a subject as long as they are within the boundaries of what is acceptable via the forum rules.

Also I never said it was bad that you talk about things, no idea where you got that from. I said you are all expecting perfection from day 1.

People should expect perfection though. I paid sixty dollars for the game. It better be darn near perfect. The PC version is a poorly optimized mess. A PC game should never have the max FPS be locked at 30. The graphical options that can be changed in the menu are abysmal. There should be a lot more options to choose from than just those few.

I gotta agree with FullMetal. When can we expect a game to run well when we buy it, when it's $75? $100? Or maybe never again?

Will we always be stuck waiting for patches and a game to run well from the start, or is that just a distant memory, a relic from our gaming history?
