Can someone please enlight me on what "custom trainer ability" is and where can I find it?

each trainer we make has the ability to change the keys you use as the hotkeys and some options you can change the value that is written by the trainer option (kind of like an editor).

you need to click on the the option in the trainer itself with your mouse which will pop up a section where you can then click on the hotkey or the value and change it.

no question is too stupid, usually. so hopefully this helps.

I don't know if this is right place for trainer bug report. First I was confused reading this topic because in my trainer custom trainer ability was not working as you described. Then I've found why: I have 2 monitors, after launching the trainer window appears on the first monitor, after I'm dragging it to the second monitor the custom trainer ability is not available anymore. While trainer window is on second monitor clicking on any option does nothing, and while mouse over the option there is no message "Click Option to Change Key or Value Used." at the bottom while the trainer and the hotkeys are working fine in both cases.

works fine on 2 of them, but on the 3rd it doesnt

Ha, me too. I was just about to post about this but after reading this thread I tried the monitor the program opens on and it works fine. However, if I move it to the second monitor it won't let me use any of the buttons.

Extend the monitors and dont have them as x2 or x3 view mode. Had the same problem. As long as you extend the monitors (my nvidias allow that) you will have no problem.

If you still have a problem even with the extended monitor option and you are on Windows 8 - 8.1 then follow these steps:

1. Press the Windows + W key on the keyboard.
2. Type device manager in the search box and then press enter.
3. Click “device manager” option from the list appeared in the left side.
4. Expand Display Adapters, double click to open.
5. Right click and click on update drivers.
6. Restart your machine after drivers update.
7. Play.

Thanks for being the one to post this solution to the phantom "custom trainer ability". Moving the trainer window to my main monitor immediately solved the problem. In trying to find an answer, I saw this unanswered question posted several times before. Rather than getting hacked that developers ran by that question numerous times without answering it, I'll be happy that a fellow member not only found the answer but also took the time to post it for the rest of us.
