How do you climb ledges? on Witcher 3, The - Wild Hunt PC Message Board - Page 2

Been searching around to no avail. I can't for the life of me seem to get geralt to climb ledges. No

I have discovered a way to fix this.
Use the teleport to waypoint, that did the trick for me atleast.

How did you manage to do this when you are inside a cave ? because when i tried i fell through the map

Hmm maybe adjust your teleport waypoint to higher heights. When I keep falling off the map I just bump the number to a hundred or so.

Also don't teleport too far.

Great! I'm not nuts.

I've had two quests where I can't climb when I really should be able to even given the "specific" climbing parameters.

Maybe it's a bug.

The game has been awesome until this. I'll try and get along with teleport (thanks CH!) but how silly.

Follow up:

It's extremely finicky and particular where I am but I did figure it out. I walked right up to the spot and I held E and space at the same time and it worked.

If i remember rightly, the ledges you can climb anywhere have a whitish pattern on them.They should be hopefully somewhere, that will give you a path.Are you using you're torch to see or take the potion "cat"?

also if you make a save game b4 exiting then restart the trainer and game should be ok worked for me when i got stuck in skellige 1st time round

Had this same issue.

It's very particular but so far I've gotten lucky with space and E at the same time. (default KBM controls) No running.
