I have encountered this bug in GTA V and now in Witcher 3 - every time

I have 3x 28 in monitors, 4k native, run at 1080p most of the time.

    2 GTX 980

    Windows 8.1 64, 64GB RAM

    -

When I open a trainer of this type (where is has hotkeys, joystick, etc) and then move it to my left monitor (#3)
The minimize and close button (red x) no longer work, I have to kill the trainer process and get an error stating

"The following error happened: Invalid memory access--> Error #3110"

If I move the trainer back to my center (1) or right (2) monitor, the buttons become active again.

Running 2 monitors at 1080p myself with Win 7 x64 with 24 Gb RAM and two SLI 760 Ti and have the same issue. While the error is different (program has stopped responding and crashed) it seems to have the same general issue of being unable to close on secondary monitor after using it. I have a feeling that it may have something to do with another program but this is the first time that I have run into this particular problem. I also have the trainer running in admin mode as well as having it located within the game folder itself.

To expand on this a little, it is more than just closing, the entire trainer becomes static, outside of the tabs. So editing options (which I never knew I could do!) is also unavailable.

I also have a 3x monitor setup and get the same error.

When I move the trainer window to my left monitor, the [X] to close the program do not work so I have to use the close program via the icon on my taskbar. This results in a "The following error happened: Invalid memory access--> Error #3110"

And a .debug notepad file comes up with this info:

    "Trainer Starting
    Witcher 3
    Debug Info located: C:\Users\--\Cheathappens\Debug\Witcher 3.debug
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
    x64 Trainer
    Windows 8 64bit Operating System
    Setting Up GUI
    No Joystick detected.
    Waiting for Trainer Activation
The following error happened: Invalid memory access-->Error#3110"

if you move it back to your main screen the buttons work again, having the same issue for a while now with the trainers
