I have been tinkering around with CE and not having luck making the round score set in my favor (example set it to 99 for each round so it's an easy with no matter what cards I use in play).

I find 2 addresses on 4 bytes, but they don't seem to show in game, even if I set them as locked and lay down another card.

Anyone mess with this yet? Or get this to work?

    Gwent is all strategy..

It's not that difficult once you know how, but don't expect to beat everyone from the start of the game, you have to find other cards or buy them to build yourself a strong deck.

Also a good tactic is to throw out all your area cards at start, to force them to play strong units, once you run out if you have a unit with 1 or 2 attack points on them, use them also to force more cards out for the other guy

This will make the next 2 rounds all that easier, if they pass early, use a simple card to win.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

I've edited my round scores a few times now. Here's how I do it.
1)Make sure you set it to search for all value type: all.
    2)Play a card/scan for your score/play a card scan for your score 3 or 4 times til you're left with 6 addresses. 2 x 1byte, 2 x 2byte and 2 x 4 byte (not sure which is the appropriate one hence I add all 6 every time)
4)Add them all to your address list, set them all to your score (I'd suggest well over a hundred, there's a couple of NPCs who can score that) and then most importantly, make sure to check the active tickbox next to every one.
5)Pass the round and let the opponent finish their turn

While it won't update the numbers on screen it will still count you as winning once both players have passed (sometimes when your opponent plays a hero card it does screw it up and they win, no idea why)
Unfortunately you have to redo it after each round. Someone with more knowledge of CE might figure out a script to avoid that/max score automatically.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you use this method, once you reach the final scoreboard, immediately either close CE, or remove the active addresses, leaving them on once you quit the scoreboard tends to cause a CTD.

Link Proof that it (usually) works even though the numbers on screen don't update.

It sounds like sound tactic. I have been able to win many games legit up to this point. I just can't get 100% win to loss ratio so I have to lick my wounds time to time.

I just am looking to get past several major wins so I can stack my deck with high end quality cards. Which ultimately makes this matches easier.

Thanks man, maybe I was able to cheat it then and just never realized it.

I kept expecting to see the numbers update on the screen after round change or after I laid down another card. Usually memory cheats work like that (only update on screen after you do another action to refresh it)

I will just try it again

That worked like a charm btw.

I guess I was doing it right all along. I just figured the numbers on the screen would update eventually. They never do though.

BTW, You only need to lock the 4 byte values though (you don't need to search all)... this makes searches even quicker.

HERE IS WHAT I DID IF OTHERS WISH TO REPLICATE:

Search the 4 byte value of your current score. Keep dropping cards and re-searching each time you add a card. It takes about 3 cards to find your final values.

If you did it right...This ends with 2 values.

I recommend you set them both to "200" (since some high end opponents can get really high scores each round.)

Set them both to active locked values.

    Then pass each round.

You will never see 200 on your side of screen. However, you know you did it right when you see your opponent waste all their high end cards attempting to get to your value.

    Win 2 rounds.

Then at victory screen (before you exit victory screen). Alt-tab and unlock active values.

Interesting, sometimes when I only search for 4 bytes it doesn't always work, hence I search for them all. Also do you sometimes have problem if they use negative modifiers like weather cards?

*EDIT* Huh, I just tried only searching for the 4 byte values, and it carried the score through the second round. I should have legitimately won 44 - 5 but scoreboard showed 100 (score from first round)
*SECOND EDIT* Something really weird just happened. I tried again. Used the 4byte values to set my score to 100 and won the first round, left them on again and played the second round and lost, then somehow won the third round with a score of 100 O.o

First of all, sorry for the bad english.

I dont cheat at the game itself, but i cheated for better cards. The "Item Multiplier"-option works for Merchantstuff too. So i gave 20 "Crinfrid Reaver's Dragon Hunter" Cards to the first Innkeeper at WHITE ORCHARD. Only some Monster-Deck players gave me trouble, with their "Muster-Perk" Cards, but if you know your opponent is gonna play a Monster-Deck just add 10 Biting Frost Cards to your Deck.

The trick is, not to buy the cheated cards all at once, it wont work that way. You have to single buy them, but dont leave the trade-window. Because even if you cheated 20 cards into the inventory of a Merchant and you bought just one and leave. There will be no more Cards when you return. So just buy all 20 cards one by one, at the first visit.

I hope that helps and i hope anybody was able understand, what i just wrote ^^
