I use a PC, no console.

The trainer was working so well before, and the game. Now I have problems. My inventory shows empty on all character slots, and yet Geralt shows the gear on, including weapons. If I sell items, or drop them, it makes no difference in my weight number.

I hate patches that need more patches.

having the same issue just started today not sure why so if anyone has any insight as to why would be most helpful Thanks in advance

It did that to me after the side quest A Matter of Life and Death with Triss where you dress up and go to a masqerade at a mansion. I redid the mission making sure all options were off and made sure not to use the GWent cheat outside of the card game. Deactivate it before you exit out of the card game and only activate it with a card game or don't use it at all just before and after the mansion quest. It may also do it with missions involving Ciri. So just be careful. You may have to replay some of the missions only using the weight, health, and stamina options - nothing else. Also, look at my post on page 46 regarding these bugs.

When I started the game today, I didn't use any trainer keys because I didn't need them yet. The overweight was immediate. I haven't played any Ghent, yet. I haven't done any quests with Triss. I didn't even know she was in this game version.

I don't know if it's the game or the trainer, but now I have two broken and bugged main quests lol. I used mostly the teleport to waypoint to travel everywhere so I don't know if it bugged my game, but I can't continue the main quest at all. The NPCs that are supposed to be here aren't there and the ones that are there don't respond to me. The quests that are bugged are the get junior quest and the treasure quest so I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten this issue also.

the get junior quest can be completed even with the quick travel tool, so it can be completed but the gangs one will fail if you go talk with roche and go with him before you finish the missions for cleaver, about looking for junior at his casino and such.
