Thanks Cal, and I did wait for the game to legitimately add a level and ability points before I hit the hot key. Since it sounds like the last few posters are using the DLC Hearts of Stone not vanilla and it does actually work sometime just not as consistent as it did before the Hearts of Stone loaded itself on Steam, we will just have to deal with it.

Funny how those functions were all working perfectly for at least a week or more when I started a "Fresh Game" with HOS loaded and then suddenly became inconsistent. There were a few additional bugs created with patch 1.11 and I read where patch 1.12 will be dropping soon so maybe that will kick start the trainer again.

Element5, I will try to post the game behavior if I find that the ability points work again for this weekend marathon. I accidentally hit the add level "9" this weekend and oops it worked fine, but it doesn't add ability points or XP, just moved from level 15 to level 16. Handy but the ability points are the REAL score here.

@Caliber Ok, thanks Cal. You don't ever need to make a video for me. If you say you tested something and it worked or didn't work, whatever the case, that's plenty good enough for me.

Only thing I can figure is the DLC had some negative affects.

@Sir Charles I have over 100 of the points, I was just trying to get an answer for you and a friend of mine.

I'm a level 70 after completing the game 3 times including NG+. There is a game bug at level 70 with adding any more levels and maybe these upgrade points. It's become widely known as many players are finding out.

    Good luck on the Path.

@ Element5 Yes I have read about the level 70 bug and will see when I get there. There is a patch 1.12 coming that may address this issue. I have played through only about three times, the first one all the way to the end, and there wasn't any game breaking bugs that I encountered. The second one I wanted to try a different Witcher 2 end save see any differences. Then Hearts of Stone was released and after the download from Steam finished I just started a new fresh start to experience the total effect.

I currently have my ability points hot key to 60 points, so if it works again I think I am covered in my play style. I will say one thing about CD Projekt Red, they really seem to have tried to keep a close tab on the games bugs and are really paying attention to us gamers who purchased the game. When I recently wrote them about a qwent card message bug displaying that a leader card had been won, (after Heart of Stone), but that leader card did not unlock in my deck. They answered my email before 24 hours was up and had given me two solid answers before 48 hours were up. One said that the message should not have displayed and will look into it, but the game is still working correctly. So even with the numerous bugs that inevitably happen on such a HUGE game project, they have really attempted to fix them as fast as they can efficiently can. They don't want to patch only one problem at a time but address several issues when they download a patch.

@Element5..@Cal..I just now completed "The White Lady" quest, a Noon Wraith, as you know, and defeated her. I went to Inventory, hit the * hot key twice and voila, it worked again. I had over 120 ability points there. This is twice that a successful battle with a Noon Wraith, where I took A LOT of damage again, actually allowed the hot key to work.

Just letting you know, continuing on the path.

Alrightythen, that at least makes some sense and should be easily duplicated.

Not only does the add ability points hot key work but so does the add level, add experience points and all of the rest. I don't teleport much so I not sure of that one or the max food and items functions, just never had a use for them much.

I was much surprised, but I will continue to monitor and see if they are still working tonight.

I don't know if Noon wraith's are that plentiful, but perhaps there are some random encounters?

    Anyway keep you posted.

They like to show up at, well.... noon.

But there's potions for your sword and a decoction to drink just for them though I'm not sure what level you need to be.

Yrden can also help if you have enough in your Character build to slow 'em down a bit.
