Yo CH forum dwellers, noticed that this feature isn't in the forums when I replied to a post and didn't notice it already had a reply to it that basically made mine useless and was like hey let's make a poll and see if we can get enough attention to get them to add it.
Or not... totally cool with that... please don't hurt me...

Above this edit is what happens if you just remove all the text...

I think you should be able to report your own post and tell just to delete it for whatever reason. In the meantime you can edit your post and remove all text of what you think should be removed instantly.

I would agree. Would also note that:
1. Editing out all of your post is okay. This is as close as you can get deleting a post yourself. If I see a post like this, I just remove it.
2. Reporting yourself with the reason "please delete" will also have it removed without question and without penalty.
3. Reporting a topic you made with the reason "please lock" or "please delete" will have the entire topic locked or deleted without question nor penalty.
4. You can also PM a mod (or I guess report but prefer a PM for this) if you think a topic should be stickied. If we review the topic and agree, we will do it.

Is it that the users don't have a high enough security level to delete their own posts or is it that the software doesn't have the feature or feature enabled?
It would be useful and save some steps to be able to delete our own posts should we decide they're not productive or on topic.

Personally I think the option should be there if some one wishes to delete their thread or post. But I also do see it only takes a few seconds to send a thousand pm's to Neo to say please delete my post or thread. But always remember to send them with love.
