game trainer is on hold while people get refunds for not being able to play it.

btw, every single other game i launched today from steam seems to run. so any excuses you get about this dog not launching should be taken with a big screw you to codemasters..

the game ran (don't know why) and I updated the trainer while it was running..

no idea what I did or didnt do and no idea if it will work again but the trainer is updated

Yeah... DiRT3CE seems to be working today, and the trainer as well... thanks.

One thing I was wondering though, the Hotkeys in the new trainer design have pulldown menus... but they do not work (greyed out). What is up with that? Being able to change key bindings on the fly would be really neat (not via external tool).

(Just asking for future trainers and reference.)

I seem to have found a bug:

I have two monitors, left one is numbered 1, but its not the desktop (menu) one, the right one is numbered 2 (main desktop). I moved the trainer to monitor 1 and clicked on the bind key fields there and nothing happened. Thus my confusion. On the main screen number 2, the key bindings did show up and work. On screen 1 they do not... seems to be a strange multiscreen issue under Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

Thanks for adding the real-time key binding to the trainers. Great job!

Update: And I have a sneaking suspicion about DiRT3CE... it may have some sort of timer installed that only lets us start the game every, lets say 12 hours or so... maybe some form of "protection" code gone bad.

Just wanted to post and say that if anyone else finds they are having the crash on start up problem I followed this post and it fixed the crash for me

Ended up being something to do with sound drivers/librarys
