Remember the time when publishers/developers where giving a demo of their new games before release?

That was great to decide if you liked it....and then...maybe buy it.

Nowadays it's mostly only indie games that provide playable demos, the others throw videos that will never replace hands-on.

I do miss the in-game "test-before-you-buy", I wouldn't have a plethora of pricey useless bytes.

Indeed Marc. There is only a few that seem to. But from what I can see is its money. They dont want to put money to fund a demo feature. They end up putting games early access at sometimes prices above the Original sales price.... So they can make more money from gamers also so they dont have to pay beta testers or even proper Q&A.

Sadly, it's true, money rule the world of dependent people and time degrade it.

Yes, that's cool,... too bad, I already own all the games Origin sells (the one's I like).

But still, it's a great improvement nonetheless

But no way should I or anyone else have to pay for the game first just to see if they like it. There should be a demo's for games. Because I can see Origin going this option is no longer availble because you are abusing it. If you use it constantly.
