Recently, my Logitech G35 headphones decided to stop working. Since they are out of warranty, I am looking to purchase a new set of cans. Logitech is hard to find here in Thailand, so I am looking at other brands. I can get Steel Series, some of the Razor models, Coolermaster, and some cheap Chinese knock-offs. What do you all use and what are your suggestions?

    Thanks for the information!

All depends on your price range. I used to have Sennheiser 589's paired with a standing desk mic (Since they are not headsets but headphones). They sound much better than anything steelseries or logitech could come up with. They will put you back about $150 (Last I checked).

Creative HS800 Fatal1ty Gaming Headset I have to say is one of the best I have had. I should have bought another after they died after 4 years of nearly contant use.

I would not go corsair sadly am not impressed with my HS40.....About £20 more than the Fatal1ty. Buzzing over vop and the software aint that great either. 7.1 sounds alright as far as I can tell.

But I would recoment the Fatal1tys insted.

I'm personally using a Sennheiser 558 headphone and a Samson Go Mic. Got the 558 on sale though so both items together cost me about $130. I'm extremely satisfied with my current setup although it doesn't have surround sound like the G35 or G930 might have. If you also want surround sound, then you can either put down $20 to get Razer Surround for virtual surround sound or you can put down a few more for either a sound card or an external sound card for a laptop.

Recently bought these: Link and I must say I'm very happy with them.
Just a word of caution if you're going to buy a true surround sound headset dont expect it to play music proper like regular stereo headset because it just wont, these kins of headsets are for gaming only.

Thanks everyone for the replies. You all have definitely given me something to think about. I will have to see what is available on the local market. I truly do appreciate it.

Sorry everyone for my late response. For some reason CH is loading very slow for me (5 minutes or more per page).

Kinda late, not sure if it'll help you now, but I use a Sennheisser gaming PC360 it works really well, amazing sound quality and microphone, It's quite soft and comfortable to wear even for long stretches of time. It's quite expensive though, I just checked, I don't remember paying as much as they want for it now.... :/.
