Even on my GTX980 I'm lucky to get 30fps, unless its locked to 30fps..
Doesn't matter what settings I'm using it runs like crap.
After Black Flag I'm itching for a new decent Pirate game, no such luck..
Odd, I am on a GTX 770 and my fps tends to run between 40 and 55. All settings max except for motion blur at 8/10 and DOF 7/10. Not had any performance issues so far *touchwood*
@element5: The game has been plagued by issues ranging from taking over development from another company, missing deadlines and serious underestimation of what it would take to deliver. Folks are saying on the steam forums that the game was a lot more stable with the pre-release version. In short, I think no-one in that dev team will be sleeping for the next few weeks.
Yeah, $50 is pricey, but I paid around the same for Civ Beyond Earth and played it for only 45 mins before uninstalling. Raven's Cry is doing a hell of a lot better than that even with the bugs. Maybe I just like pirate games more LOL
With all the complaints it's getting, you must be awfully easy to please.
If it was $10 bux I wouldn't mind so much that they released it so buggy with patching in mind. But for $50 bux I fully expect a much better product or I pretty much feel ripped off.

Everything else runs butter smooth...
Well, don't that frost your mug. It wouldn't be the first time I've heard of an older rig outpacing a new one like Lady Ath's compared to yours but it never makes a lot of sense.
And get this. Steam has Minimum Req as a GTX-460 and Recommended as GTX-670.
Now that's a genuine WTF.
