I loved this game first time around, and it really hasn't aged. If anyone has not played it before then I really envy you! Basically this is Battlestar Galactica.

I bought myself a 4k monitor especially for this but I've had a hell of a job setting it up right because I couldn't see the menu options to set resolution - eventually I had to alter a file here:

C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Homeworld Remastered\LauncherData\LauncherSettings.hws

... and I changed the line
false

... to
true

At least then I could see the display menu and change the display to native 3840x2160 res. Then I can give this bite-the-back-of-your-hand beautiful game the replay it deserves

No idea why the sound channel allowance is set to 0 by default - jack that up to 100 or you are going to have a very quiet game.

Excuse me - I'm off to build some destroyers


EDIT: I think the text I had to change has been distorted by the website here! Still, it's pretty self explanatory if you want to edit the Launcher options.
