im currently having a very annoying issue with my pc

The pc will freeze randomly, happening anywhere from 1-3 times a day, to going up to a week without it happening, and only way to shutdown, is holding the power button, reset button doesn't work when this happen

- The issue has persisted through 4 formats, on 2 different HDD's
- It NEVER happens if im playing a game, only when idle/activly browsing/watching movie/spotify etc.
- Antivirus is up to date, and on the side, i often run trendmicro online scan, i also looked through IE addons, and there's nothing that seems like it shouldn't be there
- Every time it happens, logins to just about everything, resets in IE
- There's zero error messages, it just freezes, and afterwards boot up like normal

im somewhat tech savy, but i keep running into a wall on this, i can't seem to pinpoint what's causing this, no error messages doesn't make it easier

any help would be appreciated

Look into "Administrative Tools" -> "Event Viewer", there you should find the error report for the current problem.

Download Memtest86, It comes in ISO format and will need to be burned to CD or DVD whatever you have handy.
Restart your PC and enter the boot menu usually F12, F11, F9.
Choose your DVD,CD,BD drive from the menu and Memtest86 will run.
At this point you need not do anything else it will test your Ram for you, let it complete a few passes this could take a few hours if any red errors appear at the bottom your ram is at fault.

Also If your have been having blue screens BlueScreenView from NirSoft will read your blue screen dumps you can right click the error and choose "Google error and bug code" this will point you to forum post where other people are experiencing the same issue and is helpful for obtaining solutions.

Event Viewer might be a flood of information that you might not be too useful unless you know what you're looking for. The stuff you listed is basically a record that your computer cold rebooted at that time. The reason may be a bit before those events logged as an entirely different event. The bug check code is usually the value that holds the STOP error but in this case it's 0 meaning no error recorded.

You might have a better time looking for issues in the Reliability History found in the Action Center.

It's probably hardware related then. Someone mentioned Memtest but also run a chkdsk scan using /f and /r
