Sounds like some of what I just went thru. When you're at the UP menu and looking at your UP games, do you have any that don't show the Achievements category or any of the others? I mean the category is just gone...missing from the game's menu.
Long story short, I had 3-4 like that and some that wouldn't record saves. FC4 was one like that. After trying a few things, UP finally sent me instructions on the process of backing up save games, uninstalling the UP launcher and Browser, and some other details. Then had to reinstall their Launcher-Browser.
Kind of a PITA, but in the end that worked. If you find that's the same thing you're having and want to do what I did, PM me here and I can post the instructions.
