Yes, I did mean the virtual keyboard and I agree alienware needs to do something about keyboards, at lest for the alpha series.

It just seems to me that if the unit needs a proprietary Alienware KB for Desktop mode, they should be including one with the purchase.

You have to assume that anyone that buys an Alpha will use both console and desktop modes. How much was the Alienware KB any way?

You're absolutely right, but they want you to BUY there keyboard & mouse. I don't see the difference ether. Sense my mouse worked without any problem's, but wouldn't surprise me in there quest for the all mighty dollar. PS: I bought the cheapest keyboard $20 + $21 for 1 day shipping, but I canceled the order when I found the virtual keyboard trick.
