I think Darren is Not Guilty.. but that's because He was acting in Self Defense... Nothing to do with Race like Al Sharpton wants everyone to believe..

Either way it'll be crazy in Ferguson!!

When you a Perp, try to remove an officers gun from his/her possesion, YOU are only asking for trouble, or as in the case of Mike Brown, DEATH...

Here is another case which BY THE WAY happened in March, did it make headlines? NOPE, a 20+ year cop in NY was sucker punched by a perp then that perp grabbed that officers gun, then proceeded to shoot the officer in the head, then shot at back up officers, they shot him dead... why didn't THAT case go national? because it was not any black people.. The Media along with the rainbow colilition are TOTALLY to blame for the riots instigated in Ferguson, MO... Do you think for 1 second jack arses would show up if there were no media coverage?? All those looters were attention W***es... and they EVEN BURNED MIKE BROWN SR'S Church to the ground... so those Protesters are FAKES, not one was there to express anything for Mike, they only wanted chaos, because after all, that's what OBAMA wants.

I can't say enough how much it sickens me to see 60% of a town burn down, NONE of those Mom & Pop shops will EVER open again w/o some major changes, like STEEL Security curtainsto prevent people from ransacking stores..

My Dad owns a store THAT he financed Personally, and if it burned down it would be pretty devestating, and would leave a hole in my town, as the only other store of it's type is a Crappy no name Pack & ship place that can charge customers WHATEVER they want to charge them.. At least my Dad's store is limited to whatever the Franchise costs are..

As for Ferguson, I hope someone spends $2 trillion on rebuilding it instead of helping illegal mexicans..

Yes, as you can figure I'm Republican, and D*MN proud.. Because if Being Republican means I Don't want socialized communist medicare (OBAMACARE) then so be it.. I want the CHOICE of whatever doctor I WANT, I don't want the IRS in charge of my Finances & my health.. Obama can keep the CHANGE... I hope 2016 has a Better Candidate..

In my humble opinion, Sharpton (who is the most well-recognized but not the sole instigator), the media, and the others who are trying to push the racism button should be arrested and charged with sedition. From a legal (and rational) standpoint, this case is more open and closed than some of the incidents in other cities (NYC, Washington D.C, etc.). Yeah, all 50 bazillion witnesses claim (in slightly different versions) that the officer was somehow just bullying the poor kid, but the medical records from the officer's hospital visit post-incident are public record (with all his personal medical info redacted of course) because his injuries were sustained on duty. I don't care how many witnesses you have, if the actual forensic evidence does not collaborate their story, then all the witnesses are either lying or sorely mistaken.

Even if you haven't been following the story enough to have all the fine details, the basic details surrounding the reason for the initial stop are so specific its just plain silly to think otherwise. There are a crap-ton of "odd" or "convenient" coincidences that justify the initial stop and chat and I've not heard a single argument that makes even an iota of logical sense while factoring in the known evidence in order to substantiate the claim that the cop was being racist.

My heart goes out to the parents, it really does, but I think that it is an even greater crime to crucify the police officer or disregard his rights as an individual (much less as a law enforcement officer) because of the fictitious notion that the kid was a saint and the cop is a bigot. Despite the sorrow I feel for the kid's family, Mr. Brown wasn't the saint his parents (or Mr. Sharpton) claim...too much evidence to the contrary.

I also think its a shame that Sharpton, the family's attorneys, and the media are using this issue to make a name for themselves and to turn a profit. But I suppose that is also a part of capitalism too.

It is about an 18yo African American who was shot and killed by an Officer, his name was Michael Brown.

Now, earlier he robbed a store, and it shows he had a weapon, but later he was confronted and the officer tried to arrest him but the kid pulled out a weapon and he fired upon him.

Of course the community had witnesses saying the opposite, so they had a grand jury yesterday to see if the officer should be charged with the boy's killing.

They said no, and hell broke loose.

@The downvoter - this isn't 4chan or liveleak, downvoting my post because the post said this could lead to a flame war between people shows your lack of common sense. Just sayin'

It's not specificly this case it's the symbol this case is showing to the world and especially to the black people in the US. Guilty or not guilty is out of my decision but I wished the police man would have been accused as a minimum so it comes to a fair process no matter how it would anyway.

And I think a fair process with court all the parents of Michael wanted. At least it's all I want if it would be my child.
But sometimes you have to live in the US to understand how things are going there.

    Ah that case.

Well my two cents is. Black, yellow or white you pull commit a crime then you do the time! But pull out a weapon to use against the police that are trying to arrest you and you are shot then that is your fault. But also there is a risk of you being killed. Well that is your fault. The police officer did his job in my view its a shame the kid died. But that can happen.

I dont care about the race crap that is behind this as for me that died years ago and those that use it are using it as an excuse.

The kid did armed robbery, resisted arrest by way of weapon, shot n killed because of it! Once an officer fires his weapon anything can happen from that nessesary wounding to disable the target, accidentle killing from the reaction of the victom to the cop firing or down right killing.

My veiw is the cop should not be charaged. As he did his job. Plain and simple from what I see.

It has been my understanding that the deceased did not brandish a weapon at the officer, and the armed robbery literally involved his arms (though admittedly I may have missed an important article somewhere). That being said, witness testimony varied. Some said his back was turned and he was running away when he was shot. Others say he was charging the officer when he was shot. Those conflicts are what the prosecutor sighted for the lack of an indictment. I never did hear them state whether the autopsy proved one way or the other... did anyone catch that part?
Regardless, my gut said it would not go any differently.
I still wonder why the gun vs. the Taser, but I hate Monday morning quarterbacking someone’s decisions, especially when they come from a situation that intense. As a veteran prison guard I have fortunately never had to discharge a firearm at an inmate. Heck, most of my posts were inside the blocks so I rarely carried firearms. However, we had lots of intermediate weaponry, and I did have to use them more often that I would have liked to do so. It was generally not life and death, but those split second decisions feel like they swirl in your head for an eternity even though it is over and done with in the blink of an eye.
Still, in my opinion the sedition sentiment is a bit ridiculous. I can never say I understand how those individuals are feeling or are thinking because I am a white male in the U.S. I cannot say that I have ever been a victim of discrimination. Even if it had happened once or twice it most certainly has not been lifelong. These people are not out asking for change for any other reason than they feel there is the need. Also, the last I checked freedom of speech was not a treasonous act in the United States, it was a freedom provided in the United States.
Ultimately, he is all but acquitted and the likelihood he will ever stand trial is pretty much nil. Now we are left with finding a way to improve the whole of the situation. That cannot be done with violent rioting, but it also cannot be done insisting people have no right to be upset or even angry.
That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.
