Sometimes, I look at my Steam library alone and wonder... when am I ever going to play some of these? After X years of sales, promos, gifts, bundles, more bundles, still more bundles, etc. I have a slew of games I may never play once... or just may never play on Steam. I say that last part because there are a lot of games in my libraries that I picked up for nostalgia having owned them previously during the age of dinosaurs, floppy disks, and those new-fangled PC CD-ROM games. A prime example is my recently purchased X-Wing & Tie Fighter acquirement... loved those twenty-plus years ago... but I bet I never play them again now that I have bought the post Win 3.0/DOS based games. So what do you think? How long would it take you to complete each game once not including those you have already dominated?
That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything. -P. Griffin

I think in any gamer's soul hides a collector, for me it became an obsession. I own games which I played each 10 min in average, about nostalgic games and nostaligia in general I'm a big enthusiastic, I recently took a project on myself to finish AITD 1,2&3 and I wish I didnt it was brutal, some things better left to the past...

I'm not sure I could even accurately hazard a guess. What I'm finding now is buying too many games on these blowout sales is not such a good thing. My problem is as I look thru my Library I see games that I don't even want to play now for whatever reason.
Mostly they don't look appealing now like they did on sale and I have other games I like much better. Newer titles are always coming out to tempt us. I need to do a better job selecting games on these sales. With the volume of games now on Steam, GOG and several other sites, there's almost always a current sale or one coming up.

Same there were games on Steam that looked good only to find out they were a pile of crud.Ride to Hell comes to mind. Then there are the games supposedly finished that get huge updates that compel you to start again to find out what has changed Wasteland 2. Still cannot blame that entirely on Steam. Was my habit before to buy games that were of questionable content when there were no Great games to be had. Then along comes a great release and bye bye questionable content game.

It's not just the 160+ Games at Steam, but also the 120 at GOG!!!!!
At least I have a Backup for the GOG-Library if the Internet evaporates.......

All the NEW games I usially end up playing. The problem are those 200 classics I played and loved years ago. I re-bought them on Steam to play 'em again - in case I'm unemloyed for ten years or my family leaves me. sigh*
