    I've had three of these, Anyone else? What would cause, or correct it?

    try going to your \Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\__Installer folder and reinstall all the redistribution programs like dirctx see if that helps

    Its a known bug in the game, there's a 22 page thread on the EA support forums about it. Supposedly, per a tweet by Mike Laidlaw that they're looking into it. There's a long list of temp fixes some people have tried, including the above:

    -Reinstall DirectX from the DAI folder. (_Installer\directx\)
    -Switch to Fullscreen mode
    -Disable FXAA
    -Disable Ambient Occlusion

    I had the directX errors at first but when I reinstalled directX it fixed the problem. Also make sure your video card can handle SSAO because that will make a huge difference. I have a GTX770 and it should have been able to handle the higher res textures, but apparently it can only handle SSAO..... feking idiots...
