did you check the event log?
have you run memory profiler to weed out illegal operations?
have you debugged the process to catch second chance exceptions?
have you determined if it is crashing or if something is killing the process? Run the windows debugging tools and enable silent process notification/logging... bugslasher.net/2011/04/17/who-the-hell-killed-my-process/
if that doesn't get you to the root issue then something serious is messing with your pc and it is time to pave it. or it's PEBKAC.
