I guess for me in most games it's because I'm more interested in the story than the gameplay...
For the rest of the games its just because I'm lazy.
There's no such thing as stupid questions, just stupid people.

I've used cheat since I had the Equalizer CDX for PS1,
and ever since I used cheats for my game, I not only use
them just to get past hard parts of the game or to be fully
loaded from the start, but also...besides having everything
unlocked I use them to do things in game which you can't
usually do...things that defy physics & gravity.

they allow me access areas usually inaccessable or hard
to reach. For example: in Zelda TP, I am able to walk on water,
use my sword in Hyrule town & even use any weapon/item underwater too! and in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, I could
play as any character in another character's stages.

To me, cheats are more than just for fun or making the game
easier...they allow me complete & absolute freedom to go
wherever & do whatever I want in the game!

A LT sub here at CH is worth every cent. I played many games in my library again or I am still playing them because of the CH Trainers. I get more out of a game i purchased. I don't want a challange, I want to chill while playing. So a CH trainer adss more value to games and that is why a LT membership is simply amazing. The CH membership is the best money I have spent in my gaming hobby for years.

I won't even buy new games without an already released CH trainer these days....

I chose it creates an experience better than the game offers, because I do believe that in singleplayer games, using trainers and cheating defines the game under the user's terms, not the game, the game developers or other players who think otherwise.

Some games are just too frustrating and seem to be there to annoy many but the most hardcore players. Examples would be like no save or unforgiving save checkpoints, very hard in-game challenges, very tedious, dull and repetitive levelling or grind fests that could be fast-forwarded by cheating/using trainers. In these instances, I believe fast forwarding is just being smart and saving oneself a lot of valuable time that could be better spent elsewhere.
