People get alot of hate for using trainers and cheating, are we too lazy?
are we not passionate enough about games to follow the developers rules?
or are we just smart enough to step around the grind fests and skinner box simulators that games are becoming.

Whats your reason and do you think the freedom to choose your own path makes you a casual pussie or just someone who can define their own experience. or something else?

I usually cheat only when I finish the game. I believe it helps to extend the playtime, and adds replay value.

I've cheated online when I used to play CS 1.6 back in 2004, but it's so ridiculous that I promised not to do that ever again.

I got my very first trainer as a result of being sick of looking for ammo. Then when I found a trainer I saw a No Reload option. I like hard mode but I want to spend the time fighting and working puzzles, not gathering supplies.

CheatHappens to the rescue.

As vlad said, I believe a game should be played my way, yes I didn't play board games by the developers rules, I made my own, and we had fun using those rules. Online games is against other players which means you obviously have to think about others too, but singleplayer should be how you want to play. I don't remember which game first brought me to CH but I believe it was Divinity not the strategy game, I was sick of being stuck so went looking for some cheats, and found CH, I believe there was a free version back then, I tested it out, and of course loved it. I bought monthly sub after that, soon after changed to lifetime =)

I spend enough of my week getting challenged/frustrated with real life; the last thing i wanna do when I get some time to relax is to play a game where I get challenged/frustrated even more.

Give me a mystery/puzzle/intellectual challenge and sure, i'll give it a go... give me scarce ammo, bulletsponge bosses and a grind for the awesome powers and i'll show you a Cheathappens Lifetime Membership...

Simple. Because I get bored and makes the game more entertaining for me.

Also, I like to feel like a God for the most part.

Because I can.
