@Neo7 What are your thoughts on the rumors that it might be available as a free upgrade, in an effort to keep up with Apple and their free OS updates? If they do charge, based on what work you have seen go into this so far, can you speculate as to what you think it should go for price wise?
It was dis-proven. You will have to pay for Windows 10. The new rumor now is that there will be a timed based license similar to Office 365 where you can pay for a year of use of Windows. Microsoft can get away with this because they dominate the enterprise market (something Apple has always flopped on their face on) which is where their main source of money comes in. Even Windows RT did not become "free license" until it was well on its death bed.
Probably the most "wow" feature is also the most gimmicky one which would be Microsoft Cortanna (not available for UAT testing currently). I'm not sure where this want of digital assistance comes from because I have never seen anyone seriously use Siri, S-Voice, Google Now, whatever.
Price range I wouldn't know. That's not my forte. Neither is managing a release. I would say expect what you normally see to pay for a Windows license. Most people I know usually get their "complimentary copy" through OEM licensing when they buy whatever brand computer.
