The trainer editor works most of the time. the only issue I have is that every time I have to go thru a door (in or out) the game resets the Burden settings and slope traveled setting back to defaults. Don't really know if this can be fixed.
the other issue is that whenever I accidentally hit a wrong character (like a [ e.g.) when the game is expecting a number, the trainer immediately crashes. The fault tolerance is pretty low on this.
When this happens I have to exit the game and restart the trainer then the game because although it is aware when the game is running already, it doesn't re-read the game parameters and none of the changes in the editor takes place. This is really not a surprise though, because it's clear the trainer MUST be loaded first to properly detect the game when it starts.
when it crashes the only way to re-establish proper function is to close the game and restart the trainer and then the game.

I find that the trainer editor still works but if you use F1 it changes the weights of all your items and it looks like all items are 250 lbs each

Infinite item durability (num 1) cause item in bag become so heavy to carry.
