I've been trying to stop the automatic account renewal. I paid with a credit card through Paypal, but I don't have a Paypal account and I haven't been able to find any means to discontinue payment. What now?

when you do a paypal payment without an account, it have you create one while doing the purchase. Paypal don't allow renewal payments without one

There is no Paypal account associated with my only email address. I tried it again just now. How do I stop these payments?
Should I just dispute the charge, eat the ban and stop getting charges in the future? I'm totally okay with that.

Well paypal has the ultimate say in the charge, so you can't dispute it without talking with paypal. Also you are in a lot of trouble then, because some e-mail is associated with YOUR credit card in their database, that is getting the charges, which is authorized by you and paypal, so I suggest you find that e-mail and fast.

@Techowl - PayPal does allow automatic recurring payments without the creation of a PayPal account. Please leave these types of matters to a site admin. If this user has initiated a chargeback then it would have cost us an extra $10.
