Why have the option to add money in games? Why have the option to add ammo? In some of the trainers I've downloaded, the only "unlimited" option is for health. Why not options for unlimited money? I'm not saying you guys are doing a bad job, by the way. I don't want to come off as a jerk. I payed for a service and got what I wanted, but just hear me out. Wouldn't it be more convenient to have more "unlimited" options in trainers? Or is there some reason there isn't that I don't know about? Just curious is all. For example, in some Assassin Creed trainers there's only unlimited health.

Not all can be unlimited plus some games go a tad loopy when money is set to like unlimited. That from what I have seen from me poking about. But Cal n 90 can probably tell ya more.

Personally I do not mind the add money feature. I like just being able to add what I need.

That's true. I should've considered that when I made the thread, but I suppose I'd like to hear what they have to say too.

I don't dislike the feature myself.

we create the options based on the game, the programming presented to us, and sometimes the most convenient way, since we have to update many of these titles over and over (1000's of them)..

not every game is programmed the same, and there can be many hurdles, including if the game is scripted, shared functions, and on and on..

I prefer to add as many customizable options to my software as possible giving the user the choice to fit the trainer more to his needs.

There are people just want to have everything unlimited and there are people using the trainers only for helping out. Means they don't want everything unlimited more like adding some when there is need for.

By having an 'add' option it can do both. But over the time I've improved my own trainer engine and tend to use more editor options instead. Because in a editor you can put the exact value you would like to have in the field.

However there is a limit. You cannot make all options editable. It also depends of how the game works. For example unlimited health or flashlight or so, if its not an RPG based game. There is no real need to mess around with the values instead having it unlimited or not. But for example money it makes sense to make it customizahle.

You shouldn't forget that an editor or editable options in general takes 2x - 3x of the time a normal trainer option takes. But in my eyes the result is worth it. People are different, people play different. People enjoy different things. A perfect trainer meets the needs of the player and this can only be done if you avoid using static functions (unlimited on/off).
