It seems that with CE you could actually CHANGE your money, it just would change back at some point again, so something must be locally saved (im thinking of what happend to dayz here) but might just be me seeing a light at the end of a tunnel that aint even there?

well one REAL advantage is being able to adjust your video settings to your liking and even though ps4 looks freaking awesome, pc still looks better. Always will to. I have a ps4 as well, I will always choose pc over it. I only buy ps4 games when they are exclusive to only ps4. Either way you choose to do it they both still look amazing.

Since you guys are not making the trainer for this game, shouldn't the game be removed from the request list?

They might be waiting for the game to officially come out before making a ruling on it. Some games have had their online requirements removed prior to launch due to customer backlash.

The online only requirement is going to be small compared to how people will handle the microtransactions. It takes forever to get enough money through progression to buy much of anything. Plus some of the cars seem like they're going to buy quite expensive in real money.

If, when The Crew comes out, and you try playing the game without an internet connection, IF you can see how much money you have in-game without that internet connection, then that value will be client side and able to be changed via trainer or CE.
Example of this would be Crysis 2 multiplayer (RIP), I found the amount of dogtag unlocks value using CE and I changed that so I could unlock dogtags and the value since then has gone to negative; it's a client side value and I have CryEngine to thank for that.
Let's see if it will work for The Crew and if it doesn't, then hey, at least we tried.

It's listed Single Player on tag for steam so I think it could be possible. If it is possible I would so download it.
