So sometimes on my relatively new keyboard, clicking on Caps Lock won't toggle it on. If I press it, it will instead turn on the light for one second then back off. If I hold it, it will do this constantly like some Morse code. Disconnecting the keyboard and reconnecting doesn't fix it, only restart...

Try another keyboard on your pc. Then try your keyboard on another pc. The results should point the finger at least towards the problem.

I agree with element. It's a process of elimination basically.
