First, a word about pricing. The deluxe edition is listed at $69 USD at the major sellers across all platforms for both downloads and hard copies. If you feel you can do without the extras and want to save a bit of cash, the standard edition for $59 USD and again it's the same across all platforms for both downloads and hard copies.

As for the game itself, I'm fairly excited. They've taken their time and have delayed it when needed. They seem to acknowledge the missteps they had with Dragon Age 2 and want to distance themselves from it by dropping the III from the name so it's just Dragon Age: Inquisition.

If anybody is on the fence, you can find a combat Q&A here Link, multiplayer Q&A here Link and a very long Q&A that covers many topics here Link. The best site for all news, game info, and lore is the Dragon Age Wiki here Link. It is maintained very well maintained with an active community; they adhered to a fairly specific set of guidelines.

From what I've seen there's two combat modes, one similar to DAO and one similar to DA2, which I think is great because the DAO style accommodates PC players better and the DA2 style is better for consoles.

One gripe I have is the romance information listed. Link I love Bioware's romances and I was sort of hoping I could romance Varric with a female Dwarf. Alas, there is no hope. Only inter-species love for any Dwarven Inquisitors.

I follow David Gaider's blog, and apparently they're in bug testing. It'll be interesting to see if they make an unbreakable game. (The amount of bugs in Origins...)

And I think the Keep feature is fantastic for those of us moving to new gen consoles. Link
