If you uncheck an option you MUST make sure that you have fully restored the original files either via backup or via deleting the "_data" folder and then validate files in steam.

Because if you don't do the old options still have effect.
I've just tested the mod on a fresh game install and leave some options unchecked. They won't be applied.

not installed via steam btw, have the drm version from humblebundle, is the file being used 'Sunless.Game.dll' its the only file in the data directory that has been modified recently? I'll make my own backup of that file in future.

even that still uses Steam. HB just gives you a Steam key. Something is fishy...

Problem is it will not make a backup. I have tried everything multiple times and it always resets back to the original values and my crew mutinies the minute I start.

When you change things and make a backup it saves nothing. Am I missing something here?

I don't know what you mean. The mod itself makes no backup?

It works fine for me. Just followed the instructions and all was good. Only option that doesn't seem to work is the "CurrentHull" one but with all the others active its not a problem.

Two things I've noticed is if I have the mod running or have the .exe modded it hangs on the loading screen when starting a new game. Also, I cannot enter any of the shops, i can look into every other option at ports like the admiralty/general fallen london stuff/lodgings/ect. but the shop tab won't open no matter how much I click on it. I had to re-verify the cache files through steam to get it to start a new game and to get the shops to work again. Neither of these were a problem until the most recent update was released.

Otherwise all the options work just fine for me, damn fine trainer as usual from the CH team. I would like to see a way to modify your stats, if such an option is do-able.

The Trainer is not compatible with Win XP (as it requires .Net Framework 4.5) !
