i dont know why this is, but for some reason i can't upgrade my weapons, eventhough i have plenty of upgrade parts for the specific weapon. it just says press x to upgrade, but no button does anything of the sort. hopefully i am not the only one

You have to hit X, and it should change the screen a bit, then you select the upgrade you want. If it's a primary weapon, you need to unlock the 3 starting to get the fourth. Other than that... you may have a bug. I never had any problems upgrading my weapons.

yeah, but x should be e, but in this case it's not. i did however find out that its 2 on the numpad.

Just click on one of the highlighted parts on the weapon displayed. Took me a few minutes to figure out. Now I just need to determine what the RB special action button is mapped!
